Carlos, the Scientist (and his perfect hair) arrived in Night Vale to examine the otherworldy, unnatural and just plain weird goings on in the town.

Carlos has been living in Night Vale for a year now, and not only is he getting used to all the weird things that are happening, but he finds he might actually like it here.
